RADYO PATROL BALITA
Considered as the flagship newscast of DZMM, Radyo Patrol Balita broadcasts the latest and hottest news here and around the globe. It airs seven days a week, three times a day on weekdays and four times on weekends.

The news program includes informative segments ranging from politics, business, health, sports, and trivia. Sound bites of news personalities and live Radyo Patrol reports are incorporated in the newscast to make it more dynamic.

Radyo Patrol Balita Alas Siyete, anchored by Ted Failon, has been honored as “Best News Program” by both KBP Golden Dove Awards and Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA) on several occasions. Its ealier version, Radyo Patrol Balita Alas Onse Y Media, won the "Best News for Radio" prestigious Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union Prizes 2007, held in Tehran, Iran. The 31st CMMA is the program’s latest accolade.

DZMM BALITA NGAYON
DZMM Balita Ngayon is an hourly newscast presenting the top stories in the Philippines and worldwide. It is usually presented in between programs where no major newscasts are reported. It occasionally features breaking news thru DZMM Radyo Patrol Flash Report. Balita Ngayon is hosted by Ricky Rosales (8:00 AM to 3:00 PM) and Jasmin Romero (4PM to 11PM).

 

GISING PILIPINAS
For more than a decade now, Gising Pilipinas has been the alarm clock of countless DZMM listeners, particularly of those who start their day very early. Simulcast on DZMM TeleRadyo, ANC, and ABS-CBN (the second part), the show airs over DZMM on Weekdays from 4:00 AM to 5:00 AM.

At 4:00 AM, the show opens with the familiar sounds of the city waking up--rooster crowing, sirens blaring, and jeepneys honking--further cheering those still in bed to get up and start their day right! Whether you’re a working mom preparing your family’s breakfast, a jeepney driver starting to work on completing your boundary, a street vendor anticipating for your buena mano, or a call center agent heading to bed, Gising Pilipinas has something for you!

The show is an hour-long program anchor by Radyo Patrol 33 Nelson Lubao and TV News’ Bernadette Sembrano. The tandem serves a huge dose of informative news and useful features that will surely keep its listeners in the know and always updated.

TODO BALITA
As the clock strikes 5:00 AM, this signifies the start of Todo Balita which is hosted by Vic de Leon Lima and David Oro.

Todo Balita airs from 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM, Mondays to Fridays.

DOS POR DOS
If cartoons have Tom and Jerry and Pinoy comedy has Dolphy and Panchito, brace yourselves for DZMM’s equally witty and charming dynamic duo--Tunying and Gerry!

The tandem of veteran radio reporters and commentators Anthony “Tunying” Taberna and Gerry Baja anchor the dynamic news and commentary program titled Dos Por Dos. The said on-air partnership became a hit to its loyal followers because of the two’s relentless commentaries, blistering exchange of ideas and clarifications on various socio-political issues. In fact, the essence of their program is perfectly encapsulated in its battlecry: “Humahataw…Humahagupit! Lumalatay sa Komentaryo!” Their daring opinions on different issues are balanced with their contagious good humor and frequent sardonic views. The program also includes noteworthy sound bites of news personalities.

Aside from the their own views, Tunying and Gerry pay importance to the opinions of their “textmates and textpartners.” They invite their listeners and viewers to interact with them through SMS. Most are fond of sending their violent reactions to the never-ending political circus in the country and reading such feedback adds to the substance of the program.

Dos Por Dos airs from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM, and 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

TAMBALANG FAILON AT SANCHEZ
Veteran and award-winning broadcasters, Korina Sanchez and Ted Failon host this long running and award-winning Tambalang Failon at Sanchez. These award-winning broadcasters give their intellectual analyses of the day’s pressing issues, in a way easily understood by the “masa”.

Ted and Korina tackle the most recent, controversial, and even sensitive issues, be it political or religious, and all other public concerns. Their on-air partnership of many years is known for its fearless stance in giving opinions and commentaries over the airwaves. Leaving no stones unturned, Ted and Korina delve into burning issues facing the country.

Breaking away from the norm, Tambalan also incorporates in its programming fresh and light segments that serve as a breather from the already dire news that Filipino listeners get. Witty and hilariously funny are added to adjectives describing Ted and Korina with the introduction of segments like “F and S Kitchenette,” “Rehas Production,” “Born to be Wild (a rundown of birthday greetings),” and the most awaited “Gikumot-kumot Band,” which features a song of native dialect that most listeners cannot understand but cheers them up because of its comedic lyrics and melody.

Ted and Korina keep listeners glued to their program, Mondays to Fridays, 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM not only with their hard hitting commentaries but with the jokes and humorous skits-with-a-bite, and sound bites of personalities with a twist, added to their daily offering.

PASADA SAIS TRENTA
The “Pasada” in Pasada Sais Trenta came from the term used by public utility drivers as they ply the streets during the same busy hour as the program goes on air. As students and office workers start heading home, Pasada Sais Trenta serves its listeners a rundown of the day’s biggest news and hottest issues here and abroad.

Anchors Karen Davila and Victor de Leon Lima keep listeners abreast with latest development and burning issues of the day through the hottest news and thought-provoking commentaries. Top stories of the day are scrutinized, digested, and developed through live interviews with news personalities and reports from Radyo Patrol. Listeners and viewers’ opinions are also aired to further widen the spectrum of the discussion.

Apart from commentaries, Pasada also presents several traffic reports to give the listeners, especially motorists, instant information on road conditions.

The show, which airs Weekdays, from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM, was recently awarded by the 31st Catholic Mass Media Awards as “Best News Commentary Program.”

   

TV PATROL WORLD SA DZMM
The longest running Filipino primetime TV newscast, TV Patrol World is the flagship news broadcast of ABS-CBN. Simulcast live on DZMM and DZMM TeleRadyo, it airs from 6:30 PM to 7:45 PM, Weekdays.

The news program continues to uplift ABS-CBN’s commitment of being ‘in the service of the Filipino worldwide’ as it broadcasts the latest and biggest news straight from its sources through its committed reporters across the country and abroad.

TV Patrol World is anchored by Julius Babao, Karen Davila and Ted Failon.

   

BANDILA (REPLAY)
Anchored by Henry Omaga Diaz and Ces Drilon, Bandila is ABS-CBN’s late night national flagship newscast. It has received accolades from different award-giving bodies including the International Emmy Awards, Asian Television Awards, KBP Golden Dove Awards, and Star Awards for TV.

Bandila is shown Weeknights at ABS-CBN at 11:00 PM and replayed over DZMM at 12:00 MN.

 

MAGANDANG MORNING WITH JULIUS AND TINTIN
Since it is said that weekends are for the family, what better way to perk up your weekend mornings than to hear from real-life partners Julius Babao and Christine Bersola-Babao!

The popular celebrity couple delivers news and information to audiences all over the world via Magandang Morning with Julius and Tintin. They interview newsmakers and follow-up on stories that made headlines over the week. Aside from news, the show features a taste of the lighter side of things with some useful tips and heartwarming stories to ponder on.

Magandang Morning airs from 6:00 AM to 7:00 AM and 7:30 AM to 8:00 AM on Saturdays and from 6:00 AM to 8:00 AM on Sundays. 

   

ITO ANG RADYO PATROL 
Ito ang Radyo Patrol is a Saturday afternoon show that sums up and scrutinizes the biggest news gathered over the week. It is fittingly anchored by Radyo Patrol reporters Noel Alamar and Ruby Tayag.

With the first-hand information and “behind the scenes” experiences of Noel and Ruby, the show is jampacked with fact-based insights and no non-sense discussion of the top stories of the week that will surely affect the Filipino public.

Ito Ang Radyo Patrol airs from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

PASADA SAIS TRENTA SABADO
Hosted by TV Personalities Henry Omaga Diaz and Jing Castañeda, Pasada Sais Trenta Sabado is a weekly special feature taking on current issues, news sidelights, and other human interest stories.

The first 30 minutes of the show is a rundown of the biggest stories of the week--from light to hard core news. The remaining hour, meanwhile, is dedicated to an in-depth discussion about the topic of the day in participation of some invited resource persons. 
 
Light but loaded, intelligent but not cerebral. Pasado Sais Trenta Sabado airs from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM every Saturday.

   

SOCO SA DZMM
Can’t get enough of SOCO at ABS-CBN? The tune in to DZMM every Saturday night and catch SOCO (Scene of the Crime Operatives) sa DZMM! SOCO sa DZMM airs from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM every Saturday.

Join veteran police beat reporter Gus Abelgas and Radyo Patrol 19 David Oro as they unravel mysteries, suspicions, and evidences straight from a crime scene. Even without the aid of video, Gus successfully adapted his popular TV program on radio by effective story-telling and strong credibility.

This crime investigation program highlights the preservation and lifting of evidence from a crime scene through forensic science. As Gus aptly puts it, "Hindi Nagsisinungaling ang Ebidensya!”

MAGPAYO NGA KAYO
As its title suggests, Magpayo Nga Kayo is an interactive program that gives the spotlight to the listeners.

Anchored by Dean Amado Valdez and May Valle-Ceniza, this noon show provides the listeners an avenue to be heard where they are allowed to take the lead in offering alternative solutions to some of the country’s most pressing concerns. Dean and May discuss the hottest issue of the week from which the listeners can offer their reaction or solutions.

Magpayo Nga Kayo airs from 11:30 AM to 12:30 NN, Saturdays.

PINTIG BALITA
Despite its late timeslot, Pintig Balita delivers a punch.

As its title suggests, the program highlights the “heartbeats” of the latest news and recent issues with a no-holds-barred discussion of political and social issues. Vic Jose, one of the original Radyo Patrol reporters, anchors this program.

Pintig Balita airs Sundays, 12:00 MN to 1:00 AM.
