AKSYON NGAYON
Aksyon Ngayon is the flagship public service program of DZMM. Aksyon Ngayon serves as the people’s link to the government, its officials, and its services. It prides itself on its immediate and efficient response to public service concerns and complaints received through the DZMM Public Service Center, an eight-hour, five-days a week operation, specifically established to give genuine public service. In cases where people need immediate help or attention, government agencies concerned (like SSS, GSIS, LTO and others) are requested directly via telephone, or in some instances, invited to the station, to communicate directly with the complainant/s.

The program also extends help to the less fortunate through its Handog Kapatid segment, wherein it serves as a conduit between donors and people who need help. Letter senders are visited by staff of the DZMM Public Service Center to personally hand over their request/s (e.g. wheel chairs, reading glasses, sewing machines, etc). In addition to this, its Panawagang Bayan segment serves as an on-air bulletin board devoted to airing people’s concern – from lost possessions to finding missing loved ones.

Aksyon Ngayon is a recipient of the Best Public Service/Affairs Program Award of both the prestigious Catholic Mass Media Awards and the KBP Golden Dove Award.

Kaye Dacer, also known as “Action Lady” anchors this hour-long program which airs from 1:00PM to 2:00PM, Mondays to Fridays.

PARA SA YO BAYAN
Para sa Iyo Bayan is a program for the Filipinos, which aims to inform and enlighten listeners on subject matters concerning their daily lives and issues close to their hearts. With this program, Vice-President Noli de Castro returns to his roots in radio broadcasting. This was a natural complement to his advocacies as a public servant. Through Para sa Iyo Bayan, the Vice-President bridges the gap between the government and the people, and at the same time, shares his expertise on the burning issues of the day with the ordinary listeners.

TV Personality Cheryl Cosim, no stranger to public service herself, co-anchors the program.

Para Sa Yo Bayan airs from 8:00AM to 10:00AM, Saturdays.

SAGOT KO YAN
Sagot Ko Yan, now on its 7th year, is a public service and counseling program hosted by former Interior and Local Government Secretary Joey Lina. Through this program, Attorney Lina, with his extensive background in public service, facilitates the immediate response of concerned government offices to queries, requests and complaints called in or texted by listeners. Hot issues that transpired during the week are also tackled, particularly, topics concerning the welfare of our kababayan. As its slogan aptly states, “Tayong Lahat ay may pananagutan sa Diyos at sa tao…kayat ang lahat ay sabay-sabay na magsabi ng Sagot ko Yan!”

Sagot Ko Yan airs from 7:30AM to 9:00AM every Sunday.

SIKAP PINOY
