CARL BALITA
He is an educator, entrepreneur, and a business leader. He is a professional singer, stage actor, creative writer, and movie producer. He is Dr. Carl Balita, RN, RM, MAN, DrHum!
Carl is a graduate of BS Nursing at the University of Santo Tomas. He finished his Master of Arts in Nursing at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) with distinction of excellence for his thesis. He also finished his post-graduate course in entrepreneurship at the College of St. Benilde. He was conferred Doctor of Humanities Honoris Causa by the authority of the Commission on Higher Education to Lorma Colleges.
He served as an excellent-rated faculty member at the PLM from 1992 to 1997. Since 1994, Carl has been conducting review programs for nursing graduates of top universities nationwide.
As an artist, Carl produced the film “Nars,” the country’s first movie about nurses. It starred Jennilyn Mercado, Jodi Sta. Maria, Coco Martin, among others. He is also the producer, and one of the featured artists in the album, “IDream,” which is a compilation of best motivational songs featuring world-class Filipino talents like Isay Alvarez, Robert Seña, and Jamie Rivera.
Carl anchors Radyo Negosyo, “Hall of Fame” awardee of the 31st Catholic Mass Media Awards, “Best Public Service Program” by KBP, and “Most Inspiring Youth Entrepreneur Enabler” by Go Negosyo. Apart from his radio show, he serves as president of Quezon City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and dean of the Dominican College of Sta. Rosa Laguna. Carl is also a corporate trainer-consultant for the top corporations and organizations in the Philippines and in Asia.
