FR. NONO ALFONSO, SJ
On April 12, 2008, Emmanuel "Nono” Alfonso, a native of Naga City, was ordained priest, 11 years after he entered the Society of Jesus and more than six months after he was ordained deacon.
Father Nono took Political Science at the Ateneo de Manila University. He is now finishing up MA in Pastoral Theology from Loyola School of Theology and MA in Philosophy, also from Ateneo.
He is the Associate Director of Jesuits Communications Foundations and also writes for the Philippine Daily Inquirer, aside from hosting Usapang Kapatid in DZMM. Father Nono appears on Kape’t Pandesal, Wednesdays, before Umagang Kay Ganda.
Father Nono enjoys reading, writing, drawing, singing, basketball and taekwondo.
